About Mariia Vorobiova

Mariia Vorobiova, born in Crimea, Ukraine, in 1994, is an artist currently based in Italy. From an early age, she was captivated by both astronomy and the visual arts, a passion that would later shape her creative journey. Despite her artistic inclinations, Mariia pursued an engineering path, earning her degrees in Information Technology and Design from the National Aerospace University in Kharkiv.

In 2016, she began her career as a commercial illustrator, using her technical expertise to create visually compelling designs and infographics. However, the war in Ukraine in 2022 profoundly affected Mariia’s life and career. Forced to leave her home, she relocated to Italy, where she began to rebuild her life and rediscover her artistic voice.

Mariia's artwork is deeply influenced by her personal experiences and reflections on the complexities of life. Her paintings often explore themes of nature, human resilience, and the harsh realities of conflict, blending raw emotion with stunning visual compositions.
