This painting was created during the evening painting course I attended at the Carrara Academy. I chose to paint this scene because I was inspired by my first visit to South Tyrol, in the Bolzano area, during autumn. The light on the first layer of snow among the mountains deeply moved me, and I wanted to capture that beauty in this painting.
